What’s to be positive about?
Let me search deep inside,
Let me find out and shout, and shout.
I have self worth, dignity, pride.

How far must I travel?
I am tough, I am strong,
Mile after mile, can’t unravel.
Inside, I sing my song.

“I am me, I am me,”
“I laugh, I cry,”
“I am sad, I am happy,”
“I can try, I can try!”

I have patience,
I can try.
Even more patience,
Can I try?

I can’t win,
I can’t show,
I can only place,
Yes, this can be a race!
